Location

Cachet & Devil’s Elbow is in the northwest of Markham and occupies land east of Highway 404 and just east of Glenbourne Park Drive. The north and south boundaries are 16th Avenue and Major Mackenzie Drive. It also incorporates an area in the southeast – Country Estates Drive and Glenburn Forest Way. Devil’s Elbow is located in the northern part of the area and Cachet is in the South.
The Homes in Cachet & Devil’s Elbow Community

The Cachet & Devil’s Elbow communities are mainly residential. Development in the area was most prolific between 1991 and 2001 and most of the homes are large detached family homes with single or double garages and driveways. There are some areas in these neighbourhoods that have mansion size homes on estate lots – namely Cachet Parkway, Country Estates Drive, Personna Blvd, and Richard Pearson Drive. These estate lots are typically 1 – 1.5 acres.

Shopping in Cachet & Devil’s Elbow Community

The main shopping plaza in these neighbourhoods is the Cachet Centre, located at 16th Avenue and Woodbine Avenue intersection. This large plaza has a large supermarket, gas station, banks, a Sport Chek store, and a Tim Horton’s coffee shop. It also has a private gym and lots of restaurants and take-out options, together with some small businesses. Slightly further north on Woodbine Avenue is King Square Shopping Centre, an Asian mall that offers parking and lots of stores.
Parks & Recreation

The nearest community centres to these areas are Angus Glen Community Centre and Victoria Square Community Centre. Angus Glen offers a library, ice rink, gymnasium, fitness centre and meeting rooms. Victoria Square offers a community hall for hire which has a kitchen and a stage.
Schools
