Bruce’s Mill offers lots of activities – trails, ziplining and treetop trekking as well as the Sugarbush Maple Syrup Festival which offers special family fun activities on the weekends and March break.

Pefferlaw Creek Farms – until 9th April

Come for a tapping tour, a sugar shack tour, hiking, and a delicious pancake meal – we take great pride in our maple syrup and we are quite serious about having pancakes and sausages that complement our syrup. Our pancakes are made following a beloved family recipe with whole-food ingredients. The pork sausages are fresh; picked up every week from Willowtree Farm.
NEW THIS YEAR: We will have a station running an old-time evaporator, showing how we made maple syrup when we were kids! Buckets and wood evaporator. This will have an interactive component where people can help in the process.

Purple Woods Conservation Area – until 2nd April
Come out and experience a Canadian spring in our sugarbush! Sap collected from hundreds of
sugar maple trees is boiled on-site into delicious maple syrup. On your self-guided tour, you can visit our modern evaporator, enjoy games, activities, horse-drawn wagon rides, and of course, pancakes with real maple syrup. Don’t forget to stop by our Heritage Store to purchase some maple treats to take home!
