Dark and Light Concert

Want actual events in Markham city? Join Amahl Arulanandan who makes his debut with the Kindred Spirits Orchestra for a concert, which is streamed live from the SMSV Cultural Centre in Markham. Performing Shostakovich’s Cello Concerto No. 1, which is a perfect virtuosic balance of romantic passion, tradition and form. Also we will hear Scriabin’s Symphony No.2, a lush brooding work which will surely evoke the most profound emotions, Together, they make a concert not to be missed!

If you LOVED the Pitch Perfect movies you might not want to miss this event!
I know everyone wants events in Markham – however, if you are missing your annual vacation to sunnier climes, this weekend-long vocal festival is held annually in the Los Angeles metro area. This year, LAAF is going virtual, so everyone can attend! LAAF assembles some of the best performers in a cappella for educational classes, networking, scholastic competition, a professional showcase, and the live presentation of the A Cappella Video Awards.
The Los Angeles A Cappella Festival brings together top industry professionals, scholastic a cappella groups, and fans in a unique celebration of the vocal arts. Past headliners include Pentatonix, Home Free, Arora, M-Pact,Women of the World, Resound, and Face.
