Band of Steve’s – Jan 26th – 7pm – Live Real Factory

The Live Real Factory is going to be rocking as the Band of Steve’s takes the stage from 7:00 until 10:00 pm at the Old Town Hall at 96 Main Street North in historical Markham Village.
There is guaranteed to be great times and dancing as Steve Morris, Danny Scott, and Harry James play all of your favourite party music. We’ll have pizza in the oven and the bar will be serving… so grab your tickets while you can and come out to party on a Thursday with a Band of Steve’s!

Markham Jazzlicious Winterfest – from Jan 31st – various dates until March 17th

As one of Canada’s top Jazz vocalists, Heather has collaborated with some of the best, including Phil Nimmons, Fred Hirsch, Guido Basso, Ian Shaw, and the late Rob McConnell and Peter Appleyard. She’s appeared as a guest performer with numerous Jazz ensembles, as well as with the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, the Newfoundland Symphony Orchestra, the Windsor Symphony Orchestra, and many others.
Together with Chef Issac Co, you will find great music and good food go together in a Jazzlicious combination!

2023 LunarFest GTA – Varley Art Gallery – Jan 28th – 29th

Varley Art Gallery is host to two workshops. The Persimmon Dye Workshop from the National Taiwan Craft Research and Development Institute and a Rabbit Craft Workshop taught by Yen-Chun Lu, a professional paper artist. While you are there you can also view the ‘Colours of Formosa’ Exhibition and the Lunar Lanterns of Indigenous Lights Exhibition!

Ali Hassan: Does This Taste Funny? Flato Markham Theatre – Jan 27th – 8pm

GTA Puppy Yoga is popping up in Markham this January! These classes are perfect for yoga enthusiasts and puppy lovers alike. Classes are taught as an introductory class, with a focus on positivity and relaxation. Throughout the class, the puppies will explore the room and will approach our guests as the class goes on.
