Camp Ondiamo - Shadow Lake Centre - Stouffville - 29th & 30th April
A one day immersive family experience at a camp close to Toronto. Participate in over 20 activities with your children on either April 29th or 30th. Skilled camp leaders will be running the activities and you’ll have a chance to take a break from the city in a beautiful setting on a private lake in Stouffville.
10,000 Trees for the Rouge - Hillmount Park Markham - 29th & 30th April
Join 10,000 Trees for the Rouge at Hillmount Park, Markham – April 29 – 30, 2023 for our Annual Earth Week Community Planting to plant 3200 trees and shrubs. We are looking for 1000 volunteers!
Please Note: April 29th is a Set-up Day – we will be moving plants and shovels into the field and setting up tents. April 30th will be the primary tree planting day.

Planting Trees & Shrubs Webinar - April 27th - 7pm

Odine Quartet presents: Young Artist Showcase - Inifiniti Strings Markham - April 29th - 7pm
Odin Quartet partnered with Unionville Music Competition and selected 5 young musicians to perform at this special event.
Come hear timeless music by Vivaldi, Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, and Schumann. These young people are the future of classical music, and you don’t want to miss this concert!
Odin Quartet will also play selected works from the standard repertoire for string quartet, as well as some fresh Canadian music written for them.

Cineplex Family Favourite - My Neighbour Totoro - Cineplex Downtown Markham - April 29th - 11am
My Neighbor Totoro (Japanese: となりのトトロ, Hepburn: Tonari no Totoro) is a 1988 Japanese animated fantasy film that was written and directed by Hayao Miyazaki and animated by Studio Ghibli for Tokuma Shoten about two girls who move to the country to be near their ailing mother. They have adventures with the wondrous forest spirits who live nearby.
