Join in for a virtual one-hour show hosted by multi award-winning Canadian filmmaker and Richmond Hill resident, Sean Cisterna. The evening features a curated list of popular holiday and winter show tunes performed by Electric Moon Theatre Company; a dynamic LED performance with Dr. Draw and the Spin Starlets; an exclusive interview with TikTok star and social media influencer Alessya Farrugia; and a finale performance by NOA, one of Pop’s and R&B’s rising talents. City of Toronto New Years Eve – 31st Dec – 10.30pm onwards

If you want to join in with the city of Toronto’s celebrations, the city is broadcasting a live stream here, with a great lineup of music performances and hosted by Devo Brown. Then at midnight, an impressive high altitude fireworks display will launch simultaneously across Toronto’s waterfront from Etobicoke to Scarborough.
Global Investment Challenge Jan 3rd-Feb 11th

Markham Museum Outdoor Winter Fun – ongoing

Markham Museum’s grounds are open for various activities this winter. Explore the 25-acre historic property! Pre-booking is required.
Three fun family-friendly activities are available. Do one or do them all, it’s up to you!
Geocaching:
Embark on a touchless geocaching adventure that will take you across our museum grounds, testing your nature knowledge as you solve the puzzle of the secret code word.
Snowshoeing:
Don’t let the snow get you down this winter! We offer free snowshoe rental (with price of admission) for use on our site whenever there is at least 15 cm of snowfall.
Self-guided Tour:
Take in the sights of the Markham Museum’s beautiful 25-acre property. Unlock the stories behind the historic structures by scanning a QR code using your mobile phone.

Varley Art Gallery of Markham – ongoing

Visit this great museum located in Unionville! You can pre-book your visit in advance to guarantee your spot. Bookings can be made up to one hour in advance. Space is limited to 15 people for each time slot to ensure physical distancing can be maintained. Groups are limited to a maximum of 4 people. Walk-ins will be accommodated if capacity allows. When you visit, you’ll notice they’ve made some changes to ensure a safe experience for all visitors – but you can expect to see the same friendly faces and quality customer service from the Varley Art Gallery staff.

Virtual Hatha Yoga Together Mondays – 6.30pm
