1 Day Christmas Ceramic Ornament Workshop – Aureole Studios – Dec 24th

This family-friendly and beginner-friendly activity is perfect for everyone. If you’ve never tried ceramics, this is the perfect chance to start your collection.
This workshop is a great activity for the whole family—kids can help you paint and decorate your ornament, and then they can go home with a keepsake from their own creation!

WinterFest – Canada’s Wonderland – until Dec 31st

WinterFest offers a new season of holiday fun at Canada’s Wonderland where guests will be treated to an immersive holiday experience taking place on select dates beginning November 18.
This event features ice-skating on Snow Flake Lake, more than a dozen live shows and holiday entertainment, millions of spectacular lights, and hundreds of beautiful Christmas trees throughout the park, including two 50-foot Christmas trees on International Street.

Snow Tubing – Lakeridge Ski Resort – from Dec 24th
The famous ski hill located in Uxbridge will be open for snow tubing starting December 24th! Those who are young and young at heart can discover the joy of spinning and sliding down the steep snow-laden hill rising above Oak Ridge Moraine. Snow tubing is an upgraded version of tobogganing where you slide down a designated path down the hill on an inflated round tube. You can ride solo, tie your group’s tubes together or race your friends.
Unlike many other Ontario resorts with snow tubing where you have to carry tubes up the hill, Lakeridge has a “lift” that pulls you up to the starting location.
You must be at least 42 inches or 107 cm in height.
