Tamil Heritage Month 2023 Opening Ceremony – Aaniin Community Centre – Jan 7th – 4pm

After two years of celebrating Tamil Heritage Month virtually through online seminars, events, and social media campaigns, we have gotten the opportunity to gather everyone on January 7th, 2023, for an evening reception event to celebrate the start of Tamil Heritage Month. Latcham Art Centre presents Images 2022-2023: Adomania Exhibition – until Jan 14th

Adomania brings together artwork by senior students from Stouffville District Secondary School as they re-enter the classroom for the first time since beginning high school. Collectively, the works address speeding time within the pandemic by reflecting on class discussions, art history, music, and their lives before and during the pandemic. Individually, each piece reveals unique struggles that the artists face as they transition into adulthood beyond high school.

Winter Camp at Claremont – Jan 5th & 6th

Play, explore, and make memories outdoors this winter break! Our fun-filled days will be a combination of games, crafts, and classic winter activities – such as following animal tracks through the forest, making shelters and forts, and of course warming up around a fire with hot cocoa!
The Camp runs from 9:00am – 4:00pm for our Fireflies (5-7) and Cicadas (7-9).
