Carnival of the Arts is a dance festival produced by Zoe Kwan that aims to immerse individuals in an afternoon of arts. The festival will open with a music workshop followed by the exciting premiere performance of four original works that have been created specifically for this project.This site-specific dance festival will be taking place at Ada Mackenzie Park in Thornhill, ON on Saturday, June 24, with two performances at noon and 6 p.m. and Sunday, June 25 at 1 p.m. as the alternative rain date. There is no entrance fee, so stop by, enjoy, and support local artists!

Each summer, Markham sees the coming together of dazzling cultural performances, culinary artists, iconic celebrities, dignitaries, sports fans, artisans, and food connoisseurs.
First introduced in 2003, the Taste of Asia festival provided a platform for the community to promote the multicultural mosaic of Canada and create harmony among various cultural groups through an event that fostered mutual respect and cooperation.
This year’s event will fill the streets with three days of non-stop multicultural performances for families and friends.

This enchanting story has long remained one of the jewels of the classical ballet repertoire, as it represents one of the few true comedies of ballet. On June 23, 2023, the Honourable Senator Yuen Pau Woo, the Honourable Senator Victor Oh and Action! Chinese Canadians Together (ACCT) Foundation will be hosting a National Remembrance event in the Senate of Canada Chamber on the 100th anniversary of the enactment of the Chinese Exclusion Act in Canada.
This event is an opportunity to recognize the longstanding relationship between Chinese Canadians and Indigenous Peoples in Canada, to enhance a sense of pride and belonging, and to take action against racism.
Recognizing the significance of this event, we wish to invite you to participate in this event through our livestream from the Senate of Canada building.

Mummies is a fun adventure of the three ancient Egyptian mummies who live in an underground secret city, hiding in ancient Egypt. The most beloved Bear is coming to Uxbridge on June 24th & 25th! Luminis Choir invites you to celebrate this historic event with a free choral concert as a gift to our city and our community!
Come to celebrate 150th year of Richmond Hill with us!
Program includes broad variety of styles and genres:
from Bach, Vivaldi and Handel, to exclusive arrangements of The Beatles, ABBA, Elvis Presley and L.Cohen!
To celebrate multiculturalism and diversity of Richmond Hill, Luminis Choir will sing traditional tunes from around the world.
To enjoy each others company, to celebrate the summer solstice and to learn some of the history of our community we will go for a leisurely walk along Yonge Street in the Village Core.
We’ll start in front of Covernotes and end there. Hopefully some of us will sit and have a chat.
