Learn how to select individual flowers and place them with creative flair. At the end of the session, you leave with your very own custom-designed bouquet featuring the best of the season’s fresh flowers.
What is it about flowers? We are naturally drawn to flowers because they are representative of a woman’s beauty. There’s something about beautiful blossoming petals that is quite representative of a woman’s delicacy and femininity.
Followed by a Sound Bath performed by Nidhi Arya, Reiki Master and Sound Therapist. Sound healing is an ancient meditative practice that uses different musical instruments to create vibrations and induce & awaken healing mechanisms within and around the body. Nidhi Arya’s medium of sound therapy is the use of Quartz Crystal Singing bowls.
In between, we will talk about what it means to step into the Sacred Feminine and what that looks like to each of us uniquely.
Come out, and connect with yourself and the women in our community! Leave filled with food, love and lush goodies.

First introduced in 2003 during the SARS outbreak with a mandate of boosting the local economy, the first Taste of Asia festival also provided a platform for the community to promote the multicultural mosaic of Canada and create harmony between various cultural groups through an event that fostered mutual respect and co-operation.
The annual multicultural event is hosted by the Federation of Chinese Canadians in Markham (FCCM), the Association of Progressive Muslims of Canada (APMC) and the City of Markham.
Markham Mayor, Frank Scarpitti, not only endorses the festival, he is also the co-chair of Taste of Asia. This year Taste of Asia has partnered up with AsialiciousTO Carnival and the food delivery company, Fantuan, to bring more delicious Asian food to the festival. As always Taste of Asia is supported by the presenting sponsor TD Bank.
