Dave Nachmanoff
Partnered event with School of Rock, come listen to well-known artist Dave Nachmanoff.
Not many people get to realize their early dreams – Dave Nachmanoff has toured the world both on his own, and as the guitarist and opening act for Al Stewart (“Year of the Cat”, “Time Passages”), at venues as far ranging as the Royal Albert Hall in London, England, to The Birchmere in Alexandria, Virginia. From performing with folk legend Libba Cotten at the age of 9, to playing in a rock band with his two brothers, Dave went on to earn a PhD in Philosophy at UC Davis and slowly built a grassroots following touring all over the world. In addition, he writes and records custom songs for clients and uses his recording studio to produce other artists. A truly independent musician, Dave’s career is varied and never predictable.

TWSS is an amazing night of women telling stories! It occurs monthly and each month we explore an exciting new theme / topic! Join us for a night of stories, connection, and new friends! Courtney will facilitate the evening so that it’s super easy to meet other fabulous women.
This event is highly interactive as after each preselected speaker shares her personal story on the topic, participants will get a chance to share their thoughts about the talks and discuss questions posed around the theme. It is a great way to chat with and get to know other amazing ladies.
We are committed to creating a loving, positive, supportive environment for everyone to enjoy. All you need to bring is your amazing self.
Several stories will be shared by preselected speakers and you will walk away with new insights and inspiration. This is our chance to do something fun and different!
Sharing our stories is powerful (think about Ted Talks and hearing stories as a kid). Stories build empathy and open our eyes to new perspectives and possibilities, allowing us to move forward in a new way in our own lives.

For one bustling Manhattan apartment building, the real day starts after the folks on two legs leave for work and school. That’s when the pets of every stripe, fur and feather begin their own nine-to-five routine: hanging out with each other, trading humiliating stories about their owners, or auditioning adorable looks to get better snacks.
The building’s top dog, Max (voiced by Louis C.K.), a quick-witted terrier rescue who’s convinced he sits at the center of his owner’s universe, finds his pampered life rocked when she brings home Duke (Eric Stonestreet), a sloppy, massive mess of a mongrel with zero interpersonal skills.
When this reluctant canine duo finds themselves out on the mean streets of New York, they have to set aside their differences and unite against a fluffy-yet-cunning bunny named Snowball (Kevin Hart), who’s building an army of Ex-Pets abandoned by their owners and out to turn the tables on humanity…all before dinnertime.
