Beethoven’s Eighth Online Concert – Nov 13th – 7.30pm

Concertmaster Stephen Sitarski takes the stage as guest conductor, presenting works that evoke the beauty of nightfall. Canadian tenor Lawrence Wiliford joins Principal Horn Jessie Brooks to perform Britten’s Serenade, a setting of poems on the calm and mystery of night. Following the dazzling melodies of Bruckner’s Three Pieces for Orchestra, Andrew Balfour’s Kiwetin-Acohkos draws on the stars and northern lights for inspiration. Dara’s Dream – A Musical – Nov 13th & 14th – various times.

Written by Amanda Sinclair with music from the Broadway cannon. Performed at Scarborough Village Theatre.
Dara’s Dream is the story of a young girl who dreams of meeting all of her favourite characters in Disney Land. The show includes characters such as Alice in Wonderland, the Queen of Hearts, Captain Hook and Mary Poppins. The songs are all from popular Disney musicals. It is a show the whole family will enjoy!
