Summer Music in the Park – July 15th – 12.30pm

Part of the Bloor-Yorkville Summer Music Festival, Rob Tardik will be live outside the Royal Ontario Museum. It is also being streamed so you can watch it from the comfort of your home. Rob Tardik is multi award-winning guitarist and contemporary pop / jazz / world / fusion instrumental music artist. His last 6 CD’s have spawned 5 U.S Billboard charting singles, two of which went to the Top 10. Rob will be performing his new single “BPositive” from his 8th album Diversity 2 in honour of his wife surviving a violent attack.

Unity Fest ’21 – July 15th – 7pm

Unity Fest /21 is an action-packed, 3-part virtual event series featuring over 75 artists and youth from across Canada and representing all elements of Hip Hop, including dance, rap, spoken word poetry, graffiti, beatmaking, beatboxing,& DJing!
This event is the Unity Youth Showcase with live performances from Eyeda Sophia, Voice of Silence, TB, Thaddeus & DJ Babygirl, plus a premiere of an exclusive short film created by Unity Youth & Alumni,

Kids Corner Live – July 21st – 10am

Join Ontario’s Legislative Assembly for an hour of fun as they virtually explore Ontario’s Legislative Building. Learn how provincial parliament works, see where laws are passed for the province of Ontario and participate in a debate, games and much more. This is an online event for children ages 6 to 12, and will be hosted on Microsoft Teams.

Beach Guild of Fine Art – Art Show & Sale – until Aug 31st

The members of the Beach Guild of Fine Art have been showing their paintings in the Beach neighbourhood for the last 27 years. They have always enjoyed meeting and showing their work with neighbours, but this summer the show is online and available to everyone.

Whitby Ribfest Drive-Thru – July 16th – 18th – 11am – 8pm

Giving ‘Take Out’ a whole new meaning! Make a trip to get delicious award-winning food in the southeast parking lot of the Whitby GO Train Station. (Henry St. and Victoria St. Across from Iroquois Park) for the Rotary Club of Whitby Sunrise Drive Thru Ribfest!
Join us from 11am-8pm each day for a drive thru rib experience. Once you enter GO Train parking lot you will be directed by a Rotary Club member on where to go order your ribs. You can select from 1 of 4 AMAZING ribbers who will be on site. Place your order, pay and pick up your ribs.
This is a Drive-Thru event only, no food will be allowed to be eaten on site.

Art in the Park – July 17th – 11am – 5pm

If you are planning a trip to a park this weekend, why not consider going to Memorial Park in Whitchurch-Stouffville (2 Park Drive, Whitchurch-Stouffville) to wander and view the talent of artists from across Southern Ontario.
