The Incredible Kidney Quest – July 10th-25th

An adventure awaits in The Kidney Foundation’s newest family-friendly event. This new, entertaining and socially distanced adventure will test you and your team with trivia and take you around your local community to complete a variety of photo and video missions. The event utilizes the GooseChase app.
The Incredible Kidney Quest will be available from Saturday, July 10 until Sunday, July 25. Complete it all in one day, or over several – the choice is yours!
The game code and access code will be shared with registrants on the morning of July 10th.

Family Trivia Night – 9th July 6.30pm

Family game night without science? Not on our watch! We’re back with another edition of Family Trivia Night, and this time, we’re testing your general science knowledge. During this 45-minute, all-ages event, you’ll answer 25 multiple choice questions. All you need is a pencil, some paper and a love of science! Gather the whole family for some friendly competition, or work together as a team to see if you can get a perfect score. Brush up on your biology, practice your physics and get ready to join us for another exciting online event.

TD Salsa in Toronto Festival – Online Event – 10th July 4pm

This year’s virtual festival of Latin culture will be broadcast nationally on TLN Media Group’s TLN TV channel as a televised special event, taking TD Salsa in Toronto into millions of homes across Canada. The festival will also be streamed worldwide on tln.ca and featured across the festival’s social media channels. The vibrant lineup celebrates Latino culture through musical performances, the best in salsa class instructions, authentic food recipe demonstrations, Latin art showcases, colourful cultural group features and of course non-stop dancing!

Community Bike Booth July 13th – 3pm – 6pm

Get your bike back on the road with this pop-up bike booth at the Welcome Centre Markham South (7220 Kennedy Road) which offers simple repairs, quick fixes, cycling resources and education. They can fix flats, adjust brakes, oil chains, adjust seats and pump tires. Get out for a bike ride with the family this summer!
