Toronto Zoo Re-opening – June 19th & World Giraffe Day celebration – June 21st – 1pm
Toronto Zoo is re-opening to the public! You do need to buy timed tickets in advance online but the zoo has been closed for such a long time that we will take what we can get! If you are a zoo member you can get member only preview tickets up until June 18th for priority access. Only outdoor areas will be accessible.
In addition, the zoo is celebrating World Giraffe Day online on June 21st. At 1pm you can explore behind the scenes at the giraffe house for a Facebook Live takeover with a special guest. Don’t miss it!

Mega-Wheels Drive-Thru – June 18th – 27th

Storytime in the Garden: Me, Toma and the Concrete Garden – June 19th – 10am

Join award-winning children’s author Andrew Larsen as he reads his book, Me, Toma and the Concrete Garden, which tells the story of the many things that sprout when a couple of kids throw seed balls into an empty lot! Andrew will also share how stories grow and how we can nurture them with our imagination. You’ll be encouraged to get up and move as he leads you in a gardener’s exercise.
This program runs approximately 30 minutes, leaving plenty of time to answer questions. Attendees will also receive a free printable recipe for making seed balls, which can be used to add beauty to the urban landscape and to sow seeds in hard-to-reach places.

Face 2 Face: Tribute to Billy Joel & Elton John – June 23 – 7.30pm

Face 2 Face is an amazing tribute to superstar Elton John and Billy Joel. Elton and Billy dominated the charts through the 70s, 80s and 90s selling millions of records with mega hits such as Saturday Night, Crocodile Rock, Yellow Brick Road, Candle in the Wind, Piano Man, Big Shot, Just the Way You Are.
Face 2 Face is a high energy, interactive show with funny performance bits, sing-a-long parts and spontaneous humour. The two artists promise high energy, interactive Rock ‘N’ Roll show that has each performing a solo set before a finale where the two piano men play together on separate pianos while sharing lyrics on each other’s songs.

Family Fishing in Ontario – June 19th – 20th

Ontario Family Fishing Events is a province-wide opportunity for Canadian residents to fish Ontario waters without the otherwise mandatory fishing version outdoors card. There has never been a better time to go fishing with your family!
